The German Financial System and the Financial and Economic Crisis

Our new book entitled “The German Financial System and the Financial and Economic Crisis” has just been published by Springer (authors: Daniel Detzer, Nina Dodig, Trevor Evans, Eckhard Hein, Hansjörg Herr and myself).
The book explains the development of the German financial system with a particular focus on financialization, provides an overview of the impact of the financial crisis in Germany and summarizes the role of finance in the German macroeconomy.
